How we help

  • Injury claims up to $35,000 in Small Claims Court
  • Statutory accident benefits claims and Licence Appeal Tribunal disputes

  • Evidence building: medical records, photographs, witness statements, income proof
  • Referral to trusted personal injury counsel where damages likely exceed $35,000

The right forum, chosen honestly

Some injuries are worth far more than the Small Claims limit. When yours is, we tell you at the first consultation and connect you with senior counsel, because the worst outcome is a serious claim pursued in the wrong forum.

Why having someone act for you matters

Insurers employ adjusters, doctors, and lawyers whose job is to limit what is paid. You are recovering from an injury while trying to read a policy written for professionals. Deadlines start on the day of the accident: notice within seven days, application within thirty, and disputes within two years of a denial. Most people who lose benefits do not lose an argument, they miss a form.

How Personal Injury Fees WorkMotor vehicle accident and injury claims are generally handled under a written contingency fee agreement. In plain terms: we do not get paid until you get paid. Our fee is an agreed percentage of what is recovered and it is payable only if there is a recovery. If there is no recovery, no fee is charged for our time on the claim. Disbursements, the amounts paid out to third parties such as medical records, expert reports and filing fees, are dealt with separately and are set out in the agreement. The percentage, how it is calculated and what happens if the retainer ends early are all in the written agreement, which meets the requirements of the Law Society of Ontario and applicable legislation, and which you are entitled to read and take away before signing. This is a fee arrangement, not a comment on the strength of any claim, and no outcome is promised or implied. Terms and conditions apply. Send a WhatsApp message to 519-930-3103 to arrange a time to discuss your accident.

Common questions

Is my claim too big for Small Claims Court?
If your damages realistically exceed $35,000, a Superior Court action through a personal injury lawyer is usually the better path. We assess this honestly at your consultation and refer you well.
What deadlines apply to injury claims?
The basic limitation period is generally 2 years from discovery, but some notice periods are dramatically shorter, as short as 10 days for certain municipal slip and fall claims. Treat every injury as deadline-urgent.
